Pure Ecoplus One Mini DAB and FM Radio

The Pure Ecoplus One Mini is a compact low-energy DAB digital radio, which comes highly recommended by the Energy Savings Trust. The Pure Ecoplus One uses less than half the energy of most other DAB radios, and less than a third of the energy when in standby mode.

In addition to the energy saving aspect, the radio has a number of useful features that make it more useful compared to other DAB radios. The Pure Ecoplus One has a line in socket, so that you can connect your MP3 player, iPhone or CD player to play via the radio’s amplified speaker. The radio also has a USB socket which allows you to software update the radio as new features are added. The USB socket is something you don’t typically get with other DAB radios.

The radio is able to receive in the DAB Band III 174–240 MHz and FM 87.5–108 MHz frequencies. You can also get a rechargeable battery pack if you want to go completely wireless. The Pure Ecoplus One costs just £39.95, which is somewhat cheaper than other DAB radios, despite the extra features. Measuring just 130mm wide x 135mm high x 60mm deep, it’s a really compact unit too!
